Temple Grandin to visit Ontario County
September 17, 2015World-renowned animal behavior expert Dr. Temple Grandin will speak at several locations in Ontario County, NY on September 17 & 18, 2015. An ardent advocate for the humane treatment of animals and one of the most widely-recognized autistic professionals in the country, Grandin is a noted speaker and author of many books including Humane Livestock Handling and Animals Make Us Human. She is a professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University and also designs livestock systems that more closely match the natural instincts of livestock, reducing stress and unintended injuries.
Temple Grandin will speak at three different events during her visit to the region:
