Tom's latest research on wide swath haylage harvest, a harvest method to improve the capture of plant nutrients for milk production and reduce weather related losses. This work is being expanded to encompass the rapid dry down methods for harvesting red clover. These programs will be offered statewide at six video conferencing sites from 6:30 to 9:00 pm October 28, October 30, November 4 and November 6. On-farm tour will be November 15th from 10-3 at McMahon's EZ Acres. Cost for the entire program is $50 per person. Register with the regional site. This program qualifies for Farm Service Agency Borrower Credits.

Please Join Us for a Tour of the Sherman family's newly constructed dairy barn on NYS Rte 222. Vaughn will lead us on a tour of the barn and share the plans for the new facility and its management. We'll head to the McLean Fire Hall for lunch after the tour and continue discussion after lunch.
